Initiative to improve the education environment through community participation<\/h4>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Launched in 2020, Steps Foundation is funded by several private sector entities and organizations (plus self-financing), to support schools and ensure the continuity of the educational processes.\u00a0 It contains a number of diverse activities that contribute to improving the\u00a0 education sector through community participation in directorates affected by the conflict, targeting in the\u00a0 first phase\u00a0 (5) directorates (Ataq, Bayhan, Usailan, Nessab and Rodhoum).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Objectives of the initiative:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

  • Supporting the Office of the Ministry of Education\u00a0 in the province in providing a good study environment for students.<\/li>
  • Contribute to providing a sound educational environment for school students, by providing the necessary requirements for targeted schools.<\/li>
  • Contribute to promoting the spirit of social responsibility of the private sector and society towards the education sector.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Achievement<\/strong><\/p><\/td><\/tr>

    1<\/p><\/td>

    The walls of (4) schools in Ataq city \u00a0are decorated with awareness murals to contribute to improving \u00a0the school environment about (school dropout, the importance of education.. etc.)<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

    2<\/p><\/td>

    50 double chairs \u00a0have been repaired for 100 students in\u00a0 Ataq Directorate.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

    3<\/p><\/td>

    Repainting (6) classrooms at Arwa School in Ataq City<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

    4<\/p><\/td>

    Contribution to the salary of a teacher for in Bir Ali School of Primary Education “Boys” for (5) months.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

    5<\/p><\/td>

    Provision of drinking water for 4 schools for (4) months in Usailan, Behan, Rodhoum, Nessab)<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

    6<\/p><\/td>

    Providing support to the activities department of the Education Office in Ataq Directorate, and Nessab High School to establish sports activities.<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

    7<\/p><\/td>

    Providing printing paper and inks for Bir Ali School<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

    6<\/p><\/td>
